Norwegian media covering the situation in Pakistan have a major problem - their one-sided access to information.

All too often, we see that a neutral news story gets the government's spin on it, and when the government is the, in my opinion, increasingly fascist-oriented regime that runs the Pakistan today, the journalists covering the news end up promoting their agenda.

I am thinking of instances such as the coverage in the magazine Journalisten about the government and their agencies kidnapping of the well-known journalist Imran Riaz Khan. Before I get to the criticism, it is important to say that it is, after all, very positive that the ever-worsening situation for journalists in Pakistan is covered in the Norwegian press's own trade magazine.
