Contrary to assertions from both the White House and the now soon to be gone government in Islamabad, leaked cypher confirms everything Khan said!
The Intercept, an online American nonprofit news organization that publishes articles and podcasts, has obtained the much talked about “cypher”. A document talking about a meeting held on March 7, 2022, between Pakistani and U.S. officials where the U.S. State Department's demanded the removal of Imran Khan as Pakistan's Prime Minister due to his neutrality on the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This in stark contrast to assertions to the contrary.
The meeting, which took place amid intense political maneuvering and speculation, sheds light on the behind-the-scenes pressure exerted by the U.S. on Pakistan's internal affairs.
According to the leaked document, the U.S. expressed dissatisfaction with Khan's stance of neutrality regarding the Ukraine conflict and suggested that if a no-confidence vote against Khan succeeded, relations would improve significantly.
