President Joe Biden's Meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is this hypocrisy on display?

Hypocrisy, defined as the practice of professing beliefs or virtues that one does not actually hold, can be a prevalent characteristic in politics.

In this essay, we examine the apparent hypocrisy on display when President Biden, who previously accused former President Trump of being semi-fascist, engages in a cordial meeting with Prime Minister Narindra Modi of India, a leader who has faced criticism for authoritarian tendencies and out-right fascism.

The proverb hinted at in the title is not completely apt, because Biden himself is not being accused of anything, except hypocrisy that is, but the point here is rather that everything one can accuse Trump for, can be said about Modi as well. And then some. So Biden is calling out one fascist while cozying up to another.
